Nothing on the MOD2 is sewn in place. Every pouch fastens with a patented hook-and-loop system that wraps the sling, which is what makes the bag completely modular and customizable.
A concealed loop system runs across the back of the sling band, and that is the first contact point. The pouch's bottom flap carries a hook system on both of its faces. The underside grips the sling's loop system, and the top face stays exposed. The top flap's loop system then folds over and connects to that exposed hook, completing the sandwich with the sling held in between.

Most bags hang a pocket off a fixed point, so every tug pulls against whatever holds it there. The MOD2 pouch is fastened to itself with the sling inside the wrap, so pulling closes the wrap instead of peeling it open.

The modular fastening system is identical on all of them, so any pouch fits any MOD2 in any colour. Everything else is purpose-built.
Founded in Vancouver, in 2016 and built the first version of the modular sling himself. Josh joined to drive product development and the launch. The MOD2 is the culmination of over 9 years of design improvements, and the modular system it runs on is protected by a granted utility patent.
